About me

My name is Camille Van de Catsye, age 22 and I am a student at KASK Conservatory, the University College Ghent, Faculty School of Arts, Department of Interior Design, focus Furniture & Design, Flanders Belgium.

As an interior design student with a focus on furniture and design, I am passionate about creating unique and unconventional pieces that blur the line between functional furniture and artistic expression. My designs are playful, surreal, and have a whimsical quality that brings out the child in all of us. I am not afraid to experiment with bold colors and textures to create furniture that is both visually stunning and functional.

In addition to my love of creativity and aesthetics, I am also deeply committed to ecological, social, and sustainable issues. I believe that design should not only be beautiful but also responsible and environmentally conscious. I strive to use sustainable materials and practices in my work, and I am constantly exploring new ways to minimize the environmental impact of my designs.

Ultimately, my goal is to create furniture and design that brings joy and inspiration to people's lives while also contributing to a better world. Whether it's a funky chair, a surreal lamp, or an eco-friendly table, my designs are always infused with my passion for creativity, sustainability, and art.
