Project no.2 Co-housing

This project is centered around living in a loft with a family and an extra person, either a family member, friend, or someone who needs a place to stay.

This assignment was to create two different living parts in one big loft. I decided to use one big volume to divide the two living spaces. The person that would live with the family has their bathroom, sleeping space, and cooking space.

 

I used terrazzo and veneer. I think these two materials are timeless en had the perfect description for the more laid-back comfortable living that the veneer represents. It grounds you in a way. The terrazzo brings a fresher and playfulness to the loft.
